What is Exercise Classes UK?

Exercise classes UK is a directory of exercise classes in the UK. This is a free-to-search directory for people who are looking for an exercise class in their area.

There is also a job board for fitness professionals who are looking for career development opportunities.

How do I search for classes near me?

There is a search box on the homepage that enables you to search for the type of class and the location.

Once you have clicked on your home county, a list of towns will appear so you can find classes in your hometown.

If you want to see all classes in your area, leave the class type blank. This will show every class in your area.

Are the fitness professionals verified?

Listings are for qualified fitness professionals only.

This site has no authority to verify fitness professionals’ qualifications and it is therefore advised that you check that your fitness professional is qualified before joining their class.

How do I register for an account?

To register for a listing account, simply click on the submit listing button or select this option from the “My Account” option on the main menu.

  • Choose the listing type you would like.
  • Complete the Name and E-mail address fields. You will be sent your login information by email.
  • Complete the listing submission form and click the submit button.
  • Once your listing has been approved, it will be added to the directory.

Please ensure that you keep your username and password safe and do not share this with anyone. In order to protect your listings and your business, we will suspend a listing and aim to contact you directly should we notice any suspicious activity.

I have submitted a listing but I cannot see it in the directory.

All directory submissions are moderated and must be approved before they are displayed.

Submissions are reviewed to stop spam and malicious listings.

What are the differences between the listing packages?

The standard listing is free and includes a click-through page that provides much more information about the class. This level allows you to include a link to your website or booking page and also to your social media pages. You can see an example of what’s included here.

The featured listing contains the same information as the standard listing, but these listings will always be displayed above standard and basic listings in lists and search results for your area. It does not guarantee that your listing will always be in the #1 spot, but you will always appear above non-featured listings.

What if I do not want to display all the information in the fields?

Most fields are optional and will not show up on your listing if you leave them blank.

The only mandatory fields are the class name and location (county) fields. You do not have to fill out the remainder of the fields if you do not want to display this information.

Who can list their classes?

This directory is designed for qualified fitness professionals to promote their classes. Individuals who are not qualified are not eligible to list on our site.

The listings are for each class, so if you have multiple classes, you will need to create a listing for each class that you operate.

The directory offers free listings for class providers and enhanced listings can be added with our paid packages.

I have a standard listing, can I upgrade?

You can upgrade from a standard listing at any time. Your paid listing will last for one year from the date of purchase (please see our terms and conditions for further information).

You can upgrade a standard listing to a featured listing.

To upgrade, click the “My Account” option on the menu.

  • Scroll down to see your listings.
  • Find the class listing you wish to upgrade.
  • Click the cog icon under the “Level/Directory” column.
  • The options for upgrading and the price will be displayed.
  • Chose the option you would like and click on “Change Level”.
  • A message box will appear at the top of the page to tell you that an invoice has been generated.
  • Scroll down to your listings again.
  • Click the invoices tab.
  • Click pay invoice and choose how you would like to pay.
  • Follow the payment instructions.
  • Once your invoice has been paid, your listing will be upgraded.

If I do not renew my paid listing, will my listing be removed?

No, your existing listings will change to a standard listing.

Can I edit my listings?

Yes, your account listings can be edited in the “My Account” area. You need to be logged in to your account to edit your listings.

I have forgotten my password

You can reset your password by clicking the “forgot password” link at the bottom of the login page.

You can use either your username or the email address you used to create the account to reset your password.
